What data we collect
RawStay collects as little as possible — and that's not a hollow phrase: you don't need an account to search or get a match, we don't ask for personal data, and we don't set a single cookie (see the "Cookies" tab — it's verifiable).
- Technical visit data is processed by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages) — like on any website, this isn't specific to RawStay.
- We don't sell data and don't share it with hotels or third parties.
Going to our booking partner
The "Book with partner" button on a hotel page takes you to Trip.com through a tracked affiliate link, which is how our commission gets credited. Any further data processing on Trip.com's site is governed by Trip.com's own privacy policy, not ours.
Questions about your data — write to us on the Contacts page.
What RawStay is
RawStay is an information service: we compute a Reality Index for hotels from signals supplied by a third-party data provider (LiteAPI) and show an honest order instead of a promoted one. Booking happens with a partner (currently Trip.com) via an affiliate link. We are not a party to any accommodation service agreement and we do not take payment.
The Index is an assessment, not a guarantee
The Reality Index is our analytical assessment based on public signals. It helps your decision but does not guarantee your experience. The final choice and the booking are up to the user and the booking partner.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to scrape Index data automatically for commercial purposes.
- Don't pass RawStay material off as your own.
Cookies — we don't have any
Short version: RawStay sets exactly zero cookies — no essential, no analytics, no advertising ones. Easy to verify yourself: open your browser's dev tools (Application / Storage → Cookies) on any page of the site.
We have no visit counters (Google Analytics or similar) and no ad trackers — we've never added any. This section exists because every site is expected to have one; for RawStay, there's simply nothing to report beyond "there aren't any".
